M1 Carbine
The M1 carbine was a light 30 caliber weapon. The weapon was very light and it let you carry many rounds of ammo into battle. The 30 round was very small and it was not good for long range. The weapon was semi-automatic giving it an advantage over bolt action.
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand was a semi-automatic weapon that carried the .30.06 bullet. The weapon was very heavy but it was able to knock down your enemy. The soldiers loved the rifle for it's stopping power.
M1/A1 Thompson
The M1/A1 Thompson was a sub-machine gun that was used by the U.S. The gun carried the .45 caliber pistol round. The Thompson may have had a short range but it was loved by the GI's.
B.A.R.
The Browning Automatic Rifle was invented in 1918. The weapon was an automatic weapon that was used to support the infantry. The weapon fired the very powerful 30 06 round at a rate of up to 650 rounds. The weapon weighted 22 pounds or more.
M1911 Colt .45
The Colt .45 was one of the best pistols every created. It holds a total of seven rounds and is lethal at close range. The Colt was so reliable that the U.S. army used it until the 1980's.
